Jesus came to proclaim the good news. That death has been conquered, and to show us the way to life. How much time do you spend thinking about how your life is like that of Jesus? Do you need to redirect your attention and surrender to God’s plan?
It is by reading we come to know about Jesus, but only by meeting him in prayer do we come to know him. He is truly the light coming into the world that had such great need for him. We ask for the grace to deepen our desire to know and love him. By knowing him, a new light has dawned, we know our true identity and our own belovedness.
The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, and for those who sat in the region a shadow of death light has dawned. Matthew 4:16
