Intercessory Prayer for Hope
Lord, I intercede for those who are feeling hopeless or discouraged. I pray that You would fill them with Your hope that does not disappoint, anchoring their souls in Your promises and Your faithfulness.
Lord, be their hope and their future, their anchor and their assurance. May they look to You as the author and finisher of their faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. May they rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, and be constant in prayer. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
This prayer is based on Romans 5:5, which affirms that hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
