Who God Meant Me To Be

Reflections for contemplative living

Priorities, we all have them. I don’t know about you, but I know when mine are out of whack. At times, I used to race from one thing to another barely having time to go to the bathroom. I bought into the lie that my worthiness was defined by my productivity.

But I became tired of the goalpost always moving. And defining my success by a worldly definition. I began listening to the stillness within, calling me towards simplicity and silence. These are all the ingredients which help me be who God meant me to be.

Lord, thank you for helping me to simplify my life, and teaching me what you want me to be and drawing me to become that person.
