Faith and love are two sides of the same coin. They are the key to remaining in Christ. We remain in Christ by having faith, by trusting and following his lead. If we do not hold fast to our faith and trust in God, the very ability for us to love anyone, including ourselves, is in jeopardy.
A lack of faith means we do not have the ability to love. How can there be love without trust? Without faith, is it any wonder that our world is in such trouble? Let us hold on, let us believe and remain in him, so that we may love one another.
My joy may be in you, and your joy may be complete.
John 15:11
Lord, give us the gift of faith so that we may love as You love.
