Prayer for the Love of God.
My God and Father, I believe that you are Love itself. Give me a deeper love for you. I believe that you sent your Son Jesus to save the world, and that your enduring love is always at work among us. Help me keep the commandments, for then only do I truly love you. Give me a love for you that drives out fear, a love worthy of a child of God. Through love may I be incorporated into Jesus Christ, your Son, the true God and eternal life.

Today, as I contemplate God’s love, I will ask the Holy Spirit for the Gift of Piety, whose special job is to produce this feeling in me.
